Description

This is a 16th-century shop and former dwelling located on Southgate Street, Gloucester. It was altered in the 18th and 20th centuries. Originally part of a three-bay block, the building now consists of a single bay with a gabled end. The structure has a timber frame encased in roughcast plastering and a tile roof. The front facade features a 20th-century shop front at ground level, below a first-floor jetty and a second-floor jetty. Above the shop front are three sash windows with 3x2 panes of glazing bars within timber architraves. The interior has not been inspected.
