Farmhouse. Early-mid C16, the rear service wing probably added later. L shape plan. Timber framed and plastered; hipped roof with plaintiles to front and pantiles to rear. 2 storeys. 3 cell main range, originally cross passage entry. Various C19 and C20 casement windows; asymmetrical doorway with plank door and moulded architrave. Each wing has an internal stack. The hall has very fine heavily roll-moulded floorbeams and joists, and a panelled screen with moulded muntins against the cross passage; the fireplaces in the hall and parlour have carved beams over: these are in largely original condition. Remainder of interior considerably modernised.
