Description

Langdale House is a house that likely dates from the 16th century at the rear, with a front range added in the mid-19th century. The building features plaster on brick and has a slated roof. It is two storeys high and has three sash windows with glazing bars set in flush frames. The central doorway has a six-panel door, with the upper four panels being glazed, and is flanked by reeded pilasters. Above the door is a panelled frieze and cornice, and there is a paired wooden bracketed eaves cornice. The house has gable end stacks and a timber-framed and plastered wing at the rear.
