Description

Alma Cottage is a pair of cottages with a core dating back to the 16th century or earlier, significantly altered in the 19th and 20th centuries. The construction is timber framed and clad with roughcast render, topped with a pantiled roof. The cottages are two storeys high, featuring three windows with two-light and three-light casement glazing. They have two 4-panel doors, each with glazed upper panels. A substantial internal stack is present. The interiors have been modernized. The eaves of the original house have been raised by approximately one metre. The cottages are listed for their group value.
