Description

Oak Cottage is a house dating from the late 16th century to early 17th century. It features a timber frame with plastered walls and tarred gable ends, topped with a plaintiled roof. The building has two storeys and a three-cell plan. There are three windows with 19th-century casements. The entrance is a lobby with a mid-20th century gabled porch that includes a four-panel door, with the upper two panels being glazed. Inside, there is an internal stack with a moulded brick base and exposed timbering.
