TM 0434 STRATFORD ST MARY LOWER STREET (west side) 5/32 Milepost approximately - 50 metres south of Corner House - II Milepost. 1831. J Garrett, ironfounder. Cast iron painted white with lettering in relief in black. Triangular plan with round-arched back plate. Inscriptions: Stratford St Mary to London 58; Ipswich 11 Woodbridge 18 to left side; Colchester 7 Chelmsford 29 to right. J Garrett Ironfounder St Margarets Ipswich 1831.
