Description

Cannon Cottage and the adjoining cottage are a pair of cottages located on the north side of The Green in Saxlingham Nethergate. They date from the early 19th century but likely have an earlier core. The cottages are probably built with a timber frame that is faced with brick, topped by a black pantiled roof. The front features six bays of windows, which include two- and three-light casements with horizontal glazing bars set beneath segmental arches. There are also two ground floor three-light windows with transoms and 20th-century porches. Notably, the cottages have large external gable-end stacks.
