Description

Holly Cottage is a cottage dating from 1834, as indicated by a datestone on the porch. It is likely constructed of rendered clay lump, with a colour-washed brick porch and a black pantiled roof. The cottage has two storeys and a three-bay facade. A central gabled porch features an arched entrance beneath a rectangular hood mould. The facade is punctuated by four Gothick two-light casement windows, each with a two-centred upper light. A rear extension is present, incorporating a catslide roof. A central axial stack rises from the building, featuring a pair of tall octagonal shafts.
