Description

Manor Cottage is a former farmhouse that has been converted into a single cottage, originally dating from the 17th century with later alterations. The building features a rendered timber frame and a pantiled roof. It stands two storeys high with an attic located to the east of the stack. The windows are scattered and include two-, three-, and four-light 18th or early 19th-century designs with metal casements and horizontal glazing bars. There is a modern gabled porch and an off-centre axial stack. Inside, there is an ovolo-moulded spine beam to the east of the stack and a raised floor to the west. The roof has clasped purlins without reduced principals to the east of the stack, and there is a small area of 17th-century panelling on the first floor.
