Description

A pair of cottages dating from around 1800, located on The Green in Clophill. The front elevation is of red brick, while the remaining elevations are rendered with a pebbledash finish. The roof is thatched. The cottages have a four-room plan and are one storey high with attics. There are four two-light casement windows on the ground floor, each with a stuccoed lintel. Similar casements are found in four semi-circular eyebrow dormers set into the roof. Two part-glazed doors provide access. Integral stacks, rendered, are present on both gable ends. A single-storey addition was constructed in the 20th century at the rear.
