Description
Nos. 7 and 9 on The Green are two houses dating from around 1700. They are constructed with a timber frame, with No. 7 featuring a 19th-century colourwashed brick casing, while No. 9 has colourwashed plaster infill. The houses have a clay tile roof and a four-room plan, with one storey and attics. The ground floor has four two-light casement windows, two of which on the left have cambered heads. There are also four gabled dormers with two-light casements, all of which are 20th-century replacements. No. 7 includes a moulded panel door topped with a gabled hood supported by cut brackets, and both houses have a red brick double ridge stack.
