Description
Tall Trees is a house dating from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick with vitrified headers and features a clay tile roof. The building has a two-room plan and stands two storeys high with attics. Both the ground and first floors have two sash windows with glazing bars; the ground floor windows have gauged brick heads. The first floor includes a central blind window that has a diamond pattern made from vitrified headers. In the attic, there are two 20th-century skylights. A later 19th-century gabled porch with a slate roof and wavy edged bargeboards has been added. The house has red brick integral stacks at both gable ends and a cavetto and ovolo brick eaves cornice.
