Description

Long Cottage is an 18th-century house located on the north side of High Street in Clophill. The building features a colourwashed roughcast exterior over a timber frame and is topped with a thatched roof. It has a three-room plan and consists of one storey with attics. The west elevation includes three sloping-roofed dormers and an off-centre thatched gabled porch. There is one red brick double ridge stack and red brick external stacks at both gable ends. The windows throughout the cottage are 20th-century leaded casements.
