Description

Appletree Cottage is an 18th-century house with a timber-framed structure, featuring colourwashed roughcast render and some areas of colourwashed brick casing. The cottage has a thatched roof and is designed with a three-room plan, comprising one storey and attics. On the north elevation, there are two 2-light casement windows and an off-centre 20th-century glazed porch with a thatched hood. The road gable end has one 2-light casement window on each floor. To the south, there is a substantial 20th-century addition that forms an L-plan.
