Description

No. 25 The Close is a house dating from 1647, constructed of flint and brick with a pantile roof. It is located next to the water-gate and has two storeys. The building features a single wide bay and an 18th-century extension to the right. On the left side, there is a doorcase with a simple surround and a flat hood. The windows are casement style with leaded lights set in brick reveals. Additionally, there is a dormer gable that includes a 6-light casement window.
