Description

No. 20 The Close is an early 19th-century house constructed of rendered brick. It features a pantile roof that runs at right angles to the street and stands three storeys tall with three bays. The central door is flanked by two-storey bay windows in the end bays. Throughout the building, there are sash windows with glazing bars and moulded surrounds. The eaves cornices are also moulded. There is a two-storey extension on the right-hand side, which has a simple doorcase with pilasters and one sash window above.
