Description

No. 23 The Close is an early 19th-century house constructed of painted brick with a pantile roof. The building has two storeys and features three bays. The central door is flanked by plain pilasters and topped with a simple hood. The windows are designed with mullions and transoms, and they include metal-frame opening side-lights. A box cornice adds to the architectural detail of the house.
