Description

TG 2207 NW TG 2207 NE TG 2207 SW IPSWICH ROAD (north-west side) 27/404 28/404 33/404 5.6.72. No. 10. GV II House. Early C19. Painted brick; hipped slate roof; 2 yellow brick chimneys. 2 storeys; 3 first-floor windows, symmetrical. Paired end pilasters; slightly projecting centre bay with pediment. 4 steps flanked by pedestals with urns lead to deeply recessed panelled and part-glazed double-leaf doors flanked by pilasters and plain square solumns set in pairs support small rendered hood with plain entablature. Windows have sashes with glazing bars under flat gauged brick arches. Plain frieze; box cornice.
