Description

This is a mid-19th century house located on the south-east side of Newmarket Road. The house is constructed of yellow brick, with some areas painted, and has a hipped slate roof and two brick chimneys. It is two storeys high with three windows on the first floor. End pilasters are present, and the centre bay slightly projects. Two steps lead to a panelled and part-glazed door, which sits within a recessed round-headed arch constructed of gauge brick. Above the door is a fanlight with radial glazing bars. The sash windows, which have glazing bars (16 panes in the end bays), are set within flat gauged brick arches.
