Description

The Eagles Public House is a mid-19th century building that was originally a house and is now a public house. It is constructed of red brick with a slate roof and features gable-end brick chimneys. The building is two storeys high and has a symmetrical façade with three first-floor windows. The entrance consists of a half-glazed panelled door with an overlight that has glazing bars, all set within a simple moulded doorcase that includes panelled reveals. The windows are 16-pane sash windows with flat gauged brick arches above them. The gables are supported by brick kneelers. There are later single-storey extensions on both the left and right sides, each featuring a 16-pane sash window.
