Description
A pair of houses dating from the mid-19th century are located on the north-west side of Newmarket Road. The houses are constructed of red brick with a hipped slate roof, and feature a ridge chimney made of brick, and two gable-end stacks. The design defines the end bays and centre with brick plaster. Each house has a central six-panelled door with a plain overlight, panelled reveals, fluted half columns, and a moulded hood. The end ground floor windows are tripartite with large-paned sashes and horns. Other ground floor windows are 16-pane sashes, with smaller windows above the doors. The building has small eaves brackets.
