Description

This is a mid-19th century house on the north-west side of Newmarket Road. It is constructed of yellow brick with a hipped slate roof, and features two brick chimneys. The house is two storeys high with three windows on the first floor. The facade includes pilasters, a central door within panelled reveals flanked by pilasters with a pediment, and sash windows with glazing bars, each set within a flat gauged brick arch. Projecting eaves complete the architectural details. The appearance of the front facade is now partially obscured by a 20th-century petrol station that occupies the site of the original garden.
