Description
The Annesley Hotel is a house that has been converted into a hotel annexe, dating from the mid-19th century. It is constructed of yellow brick with a rendered plinth and painted side walls, topped with a hipped slate roof. The building features two brick chimneys and stands two storeys high, with four windows on the first floor. There are end pilasters, and the side entry sash windows, which have glazing bars, are adorned with flat gauged brick arches. An iron gutter with lion heads adds decorative detail. A 20th-century flat-roofed extension is located to the right, while a 20th-century glazed passage to the left connects the building with No. 6 Newmarket Road.
