Description

No. 10 Newmarket Road is a house dating from the mid-19th century. It is constructed of yellow brick and features a hipped slate roof with gable-end brick chimneys. The building has two storeys and is symmetrical, with three first-floor windows. It has end pilasters and a central bay that is slightly recessed. There are two steps leading up to a part-glazed panelled door, which has a plain frosted glass fanlight set in a recessed gauged brick round-headed arch. The windows are large-paned sashes, mostly with horns, and are situated under flat gauged brick arches.
