Description

TG 2207 NE IPSWICH ROAD (north-west side) 28/402 5.6.72. No. 4. (Point Cottage). GV II House Mid C19 with later alterations. Painted brick; gable-fronted pantile roof; one red brick chimney. Victorian Gothic style. 2 storeys; 2 first- floor windows at right-angles to street. Entered through later single- storey wing to left, with ribbed and studded door. One first-floor has lattice glazing bars. Other windows are C20 casements with a C20 bow window on the ground floor. Included for group value as an extension to No. 2 Ipswich Road (q.v.) and No. 2 Newmarket Road (q.v.).
