Description

This is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is built of painted brick with a pantile roof. The house has two storeys and originally featured a three-window front, with the left bay set back. The central entrance is a round-headed recess containing a panelled door and a fanlight with glazing bars. The windows are large-paned sash windows set under flat, gauged brick arches. A single-storey extension from the 20th century has been added to the left side, featuring two windows. The right side of the house aligns with and was originally part of the same property as Number 2 Newmarket Road.
