Description
Hill House is a mid-19th century house located on Mount Pleasant. It is constructed of painted brick and features a hipped pantile roof with painted brick side chimneys. The building has two storeys and three windows on the first floor. The central entrance consists of a six-panelled door with an overlight that has vertical glazing bars, set in panelled reveals and flanked by fluted pilasters. These pilasters support a hood with a plain entablature. To the right, there is a canted ground-floor bay with large-paned sashes that have horns. The other windows are 16-pane sashes, and the house is adorned with a box cornice. Additionally, there is a lean-to greenhouse on the right side of the property.
