Description

Nos. 4 and 6 Mount Pleasant are a pair of houses built in the mid-19th century. They feature a yellow brick facade and an asbestos slate roof, with a central ridge brick chimney. The buildings are two storeys high with an attic. Each house has four first-floor windows and a central pilaster. The panelled doors are located in slightly projecting bays on the right and left, each with plain fanlights set in recessed round-headed gauged-brick arches. The windows are sash style with glazing bars, positioned under flat gauged brick arches. No. 4 has iron ties. There are round-headed attic windows in the gable ends. Additionally, there are 20th-century single-storey extensions on both sides.
