Description
TG 2207 SW NEWMARKET ROAD (north-west side) 33/554 5.6.72. No. 85. GV II House. Mid C19 with later alterations. Yellow brick facade; concrete tile roof; 2 gable-end brick chimneys. 2 storeys; 3 first-floor windows. End pilasters. 3 steps up to panelled door in slightly projecting centre bay. Overlight has decorative glazing bars. Panelled reveals flanked by 2 fluted Dorix half-columns supporting dentilled hood. Rendered canted single-storey bay to right has large paned sashes; other windows have glazing bars. C20 brick-fronted garage to right.
