Description
28 Mount Pleasant is a mid-19th century house featuring a yellow brick facade with rendered details and a hipped slate roof. It has two side brick chimneys and stands two storeys tall. The front has three symmetrical first-floor windows. A panelled door with a plain fanlight is set in a recessed rounded-headed gauged brick arch, flanked by later angled bay windows that have large-paned sashes and horns. There is a plain string course, and the first-floor windows have rendered architraves with small hoods supported by consoles. The central bay slightly projects and has a round-headed window beneath a pediment, which includes a circular cast-iron ventilator grille. A brick cornice completes the design.
