Description
No. 18 Albemarle Road is a house built in the mid-19th century, with later additions. It features painted brickwork and a gable-fronted concrete tile roof, which is topped by two painted brick ridge chimneys. The house is two storeys high and has two first-floor windows on the street side, with bays that are defined by pilasters. The entrance is located on the left side of the building. The windows are sashes with glazing bars. A ground-floor cast iron verandah with a glazed roof extends around the three-window range of the left facade. The street frontage also includes a brick pediment and overhanging eaves with moulded purlins. To the right, there is a later two-storey gabled extension that has one bay, featuring a large-parted sash window and a small chimney.
