Description
No. 12 St Andrew Street is a house dating from the early to mid 19th century. It is constructed of painted brick, with a rear wall made of stone rubble and red brick dressings. The roof is tarred and slated, and there are no visible chimneys.
The exterior features two storeys with a garret and a two-window front. The doorway is located in the right-hand bay of the ground storey and is flanked by panelled wooden pilasters that support an entablature. The windows are 6-paned sashes. At the rear, which can be seen from an alley leading off Ham Place, there is a segmental-headed upper storey window with sashes that each have two upright glazing bars. Additionally, there is a plain flat-topped dormer window. The interior has not been inspected.
