Description
This is a mid-19th century house on the north-east side of Mount Pleasant. It is constructed of yellow brick with rendered details, topped with a hipped slate roof and featuring two brick chimneys at either end. The house is symmetrical, with three windows on the first floor. It has end pilasters. The front door is recessed within a rendered porch and has a plain overlight; the porch is flanked by fluted Doric half-columns and triglyphs, supporting a dentilled hood. Canted, single-storey rendered bays are located to the right and left of the front door, with large-paned sash windows featuring horns. The first-floor windows are also sash windows with glazing bars, set beneath flat, gauged brick arches. The central bay projects slightly.
