Description
No. 2 Post Office Road is a house built in the early 19th century, with later additions. It features painted brick construction and a plain tile roof, along with brick integral end stacks. The house is aligned north-south, facing east, and has an extension wing to the north that is aligned east-west. It is two storeys high with dentilled eaves and consists of a two-bay main house that is slightly taller than the single-bay service wing attached to the right. The main house has 12 and 16-pane glazing bar sash windows and a six-panelled door to the right, which is framed by a fluted doorcase and topped with a cornice head. The service wing has casement windows, one of which features a segmental head. There is a projecting gabled wing to the right that includes one 20th-century window on the ground floor.
