Description

This is a house, dating from the 17th century with alterations made in the 18th century. The building is timber framed, with some areas rendered in roughcast. It has a plain tile roof, and brick chimneys positioned centrally along the ridge and at the end of the building. The house is arranged with a baffle entry plan, oriented east-west and facing north, with three main bays. The right-hand bay has three square panels under the eaves, supported by straight braces. The remaining bays are roughcast with a horizontal band marking the first floor. The windows are irregular in style, with casements featuring segmental heads on the ground floor to the left and centre. There are eyebrow dormers in the attic over the right and centre bays. A door with a segmental head is located to the left of the centre bay.
