Description
No. 58 Middle Street North is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of brick, rendered, and features a pantiled roof. The building has a central direct entry and stands two storeys high with attics, arranged in three bays, and includes a lower extension to the right. The front door has six raised and fielded panels with a fanlight set in panelled reveals. The doorcase is adorned with fluted attached columns and a projecting moulded cornice. The windows throughout the house are 16-pane sashes set under cambered arches, except for the 12-pane sash located above the door. The extension to the right has a 16-pane sash window under a flat arch on the ground floor. There are end stacks at either side of the building.
