Description
No. 10 Heigham Grove is a house dating from the early 19th century, with later additions. It is constructed of yellow brick and features a hipped slate roof along with two brick chimneys. The building has two storeys and a symmetrical facade with three first-floor windows. There are steps leading up to a recessed half-glazed door that includes leaded lights.
To the left and right of the entrance, there are later 19th-century single-storey square fronted bays, which are defined by moulded brick pilasters and contain tripartite sash windows with glazing bars set under flat gauged brick arches. Each bay is topped with a balustrade and flanked by ball finials. The round-headed porch has a keyblock and a central pediment adorned with terracotta rosettes.
The original facade features a slightly projecting central bay on the first floor, with sash windows that also have glazing bars beneath flat gauged brick arches. Below the brick parapet, there is a rendered moulded cornice. At the rear, there is a later red brick two-window range that includes a Gothic-style door to the right, set in a round-headed gauged brick arch.
