Description

The Cedars is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of yellow brick and features a hipped concrete tile roof, with a central brick ridge chimney and one end stack. The building has two storeys and four first-floor windows, which are defined by brick pilasters. To the right of the centre, there are half-glazed double doors with glazing bars and margin lights. All ground-floor rooms have similar French windows. A cast iron verandah spans the three right bays and has a 20th-century plastic roof. The first-floor windows are sashes with glazing bars, set under flat gauged brick arches. The eaves are overhanging, and there is a 20th-century greenhouse to the left.
