Description
Nos. 24 and 26 Mill Hill Road are a pair of mid-19th century houses that form part of a terrace. They are built from yellow brick with rendered details. No. 24 features a hipped slate roof, while No. 26 has a roof covered with concrete tiles. Both houses have a central brick ridge chimney and two end stacks. They are two storeys high with a basement, each having six symmetrical first-floor windows framed by rusticated pilasters. There are steps leading up to panelled double-leaf doors, which are part-glazed, and a fanlight with radial glazing bars set in round-headed rendered recesses. The windows are adorned with moulded architraves and large-paned sashes with horns on the ground floor. A plain brick cornice runs along the top, and there is a crenellated surround to the garden gate on the left.
