Description

No. 56 (St. Ouen) is a late 19th-century house located on a corner site. The right part of the building is rendered, while the left part features painted flint rubble with brick dressings. It has a pantiled roof and two yellow brick ridge chimneys, one on each wing. The house is designed in an L-shape, with ranges parallel to each frontage and consists of two storeys with scattered fenestration. The door at the right end of the left wing has a recessed four-centred arch with a drip mould. The windows are fitted with wooden mullions and transoms. The left gable features a stone parapet and kneelers, while the right gable of the rendered wing has a stepped design with rosettes, one of which is broken, in a recessed panel.
