Description

The Elms is a house dating from the early 19th century. It features a rendered exterior and a hipped pantile roof, with two red brick chimneys. The front has three symmetrical first-floor windows and end pilasters. There are three steps leading up to a projecting rendered porch, which includes pilasters, a cornice, and a parapet. The entrance has a panelled part-glazed door with glazing bars. To the right are French windows, and to the left are sash windows, both with rendered architraves and small hoods supported by consoles. The building has string courses, and the first-floor windows are adorned with moulded architraves and sash windows that also have glazing bars. A moulded cornice runs below the parapet.
