Description
The Grove is a house dating from the early 19th century, located on the east side of Heigham Grove. The building is rendered and features a hipped slate roof with two yellow brick chimneys. It has two storeys and a basement, with three first-floor windows. The central entrance consists of a six-panelled door, four of which are glazed, and is topped by a plain overlight with late 19th-century glazing. The door is framed by panelled reveals and fluted pilasters that support a triglyph frieze and a hood adorned with modillions. The ground-floor windows are fitted with moulded wooden architraves, and all windows are sashes with glazing bars. There is also a later two-storey lean-to on the right side of the house.
