Description

Upper Farm is a house dating from around 1830. It is constructed of yellow brick and has a slate roof. The building is two storeys high and features a hipped roof with wide overhanging eaves, along with chimney stacks on both the left and right sides. The front has a regular arrangement of windows, with three glazing bar sashes on the first floor and two on the ground floor. The central entrance door consists of six panels and is set within a large rendered door surround, which is supported by doubled pilasters and features a prominent frieze. There is a similar but larger door surround on the left side, which leads to a garden window.
