Description

The Yews is a house that was remodelled in the mid-19th century, likely incorporating a 17th century or earlier building. It is constructed of flint and rubble with buff brick upper courses and vertical bands, with red brick in English bond on the return elevations. The roof is tiled, with a hipped design and stacks positioned to the left and at the right end. The two-storey facade has boxed eaves. The first floor has one wooden casement window and two glazing bar sash windows. The ground floor has one wooden casement, one doubled glazing bar sash, and two single glazing bar sashes, all with segmental heads. A 20th-century plank and stud door is located at the centre of the left side of the building.
