Description

Church House is an 18th-century house located on Church Hill in Sutton. The front elevation is made of buff-colored brick with some red brick, while the right return and rear elevations are rendered. It features a plain tiled roof that is hipped to the left, with two raking dormers and chimney stacks on the left and at the end right. The house has two storeys and an attic. On the first floor, there are three sash windows, and on the ground floor, there is one tripartite wooden casement window to the left and two sashes. Between the ground floor windows is a half-glazed door with a semi-circular fanlight in a related surround. The ground floor at the end left displays earlier brickwork, suggesting that the house has an older origin.
