Description

Ripple Farmhouse is a house dating from the early 18th century, built on earlier foundations. It features a red brick exterior and a plain tiled roof set on a flint base with stone quoins. The building stands two storeys high on a plinth, with boxed eaves supporting a hipped roof that has stacks at both ends and three flat-roofed dormers. The first floor has five segmentally headed sash windows, while the ground floor has four, all adorned with flying cornices. There are two blocked window openings on either side of a central half-glazed door that is topped by a pediment-shaped hood. At the rear, there is a wing with a kneelered parapet gable. Inside, chamfered ceiling posts are visible.
