Description
The Old Rectory is a house built in 1732 for Reverend Edward Lloyd, with an extension added in 1881. It features a red brick structure with a plain tiled roof and tile hanging on part of the elevation. The entrance front includes the side elevation of the 18th-century wing and part of the 19th-century additions. The building is two storeys high, with a projecting hip on the left, a central outshot, and a two-storey hipped porch that has a plinth and plat band, along with a gabled wing on the right. There are stacks located at the front left, as well as arranged to the rear and at the end right. The fenestration is irregular, featuring bay windows on the left and two-storey windows on the right, with a central panelled door that has small wooden casements above and a sash window to the left. The left return showcases the original 18th-century front, which includes glazing bar sashes, a hipped dormer, and a panelled door set in moulded architraves.
