Description

Stanley Cottage is a house that dates from the early 18th century or earlier and was rebuilt in 1825 by someone named Stanley. It features painted brick and thatch and is one storey high with an attic. The cottage has two raking dormers and chimneys on both the left and right sides. The front includes two wooden casement windows and a central half-glazed door set in a gabled porch. The building's origins are believed to date back to 1564.
