Description
Wentworth is a house dating from the mid-19th century. It has a rendered exterior and a hipped slate roof, with two yellow brick chimneys at the gable ends. The building is two storeys tall and features three symmetrical first-floor windows. It has rusticated quoins, and the 20th-century glazed door is topped by a plain overlight and flanked by brick pilasters with a dentilled hood. There is a later porch added to the entrance. On either side of the house, there are two-storey canted bays that include dentilled stringcourses. The windows throughout are large-paned sash windows with horns. A bracket cornice runs along the top of the building, and there is a later extension to the left, which is partly constructed in red brick.
