Description
No. 107 on Newmarket Road is a house dating from the mid-19th century, which has been converted into five flats. The building is constructed of yellow brick and features a hipped slate roof with four brick chimneys. It stands two storeys high and has six windows on the first floor. Access is provided by 20th-century doors located on the side of the building.
To the left of the centre, there is a canted two-storey bay that includes a dentilled string course and three 16-pane sash windows on each floor. On the right side, a large 20th-century ground floor window has a concrete lintel. The remaining windows are sash windows with glazing bars, set under flat gauged brick arches. The right end bay is slightly recessed, and the building is topped with a bracket cornice and an open pediment below a plain brick parapet.
